Radio Reception Problem

I have installed a Pioneer DEH-P940M hu and 6 1/2 inch infinities in the front and 5 1/2 inch infinities in the rear. CD's sound great but I can't get AM/FM except for a local FM station - when I pull the antenna lead I stilll get the local FM station. Is it possible that I have a bad connection to the rear glass antenna - if so how do I go about checking this.
Are there any suggestions to get this to work before I have to take it into my dealer.
Thanks,

If you do a search you should find many threads on this. Basically, and this happened to me to, is that you probably do not have your antenna amplifier wire hooked up. Hook up the power antenna lead from your head unit to the wire going back to the antenna amplifier (a blue, white in most harnesses, connects to a white wire on the car side of the harness). The power antenna lead powers an amplifier for the on glass antenna, which needs to be hooked up to get any decent reception. After I went back to circuit city and made them do this, my FM reception improved a lot, but I still get crap for AM reception. I miss my sports radio talk shows... Go Broncos!!!
