Well, I feel better that my two hours arguing at Stevens Creek wasn't wasted. Oh yeah, they have my Navy Blue Z28 (that I traded in) sitting right out front. You would think they would stick a scooby out there.

Thanks! Nah, it's too late. I think I'm just happy I got 5.49% financing through Subaru on it even though I have two 30-day delinquent payments on my last car loan and my credit score is only 640.

Out of curiosity, anyone know when the 2005 shipments will start, has anyone even asked? I won't be in the market for a new car until like march 2004 so I wasn't sure if I should expect may of next year for the 2005's like this year, or sooner.

I have to say that Andrew at Bianco Subaru in Corte Madrea was the best buying experience I've had with purchasing a new car. Everyone, including the woman who had to do all the paper work, was exceptional!

Thanks, I traded in my WRX and paid cash for the balance. For some reason Andrew did not want to do a straight trade of my slightly used WRX for the new STi.

Don't pay over MSRP! I'm sure they will not let you walk out the door if you say you will buy the car at MSRP, but not a penny higher. You just have to start walking away...

Do a search on my user name for my story on what I paid, which eventually came out to MSRP from Stevens Creek (San Jose). It was pretty cool, back on June 22nd, I walked into the dealer and the one black/silver one they had on the lot had been sold 5 minutes earlier. But they said they were getting 8 more in in the next couple days. So I bought the black/gold one coming in. The two day wait was torture.

I was in last week to get oil filters and Shannon there said that they don't have any more. I don't know if that means they're not going to get any more, or what. But at only 300/month produced total for the U.S., they may have reached their allocation.
