I believe there is a fog lamp underneath the cover. It isn't the personal pan pizza style like before, smaller projector beam style.

Hope this answers some question.

I wish the sti had projector type xenons like the evo but they are not.

Not sure, I'm sure they've got some quick and easy method. And yes the STI does come w/ HID's

It's a bulb style HID not projector style like the previous the bug eyes. Probably did that to save cost. When i check it out at the auto show i thought it didn't have hid because the light look just the MY04 wrx. SO i guess if you buy hid and install them in MY04 wrx it'll be the same as the sti's.

Personally, I'd rather have the old sti light. Looks much higher quality.

Oh, yeah just look at my pic. Projector type HID are concentrated and the light does not dispearse like shown and reflector are not needed.
