More STi Pictures from Hawaii
I finally took some decent pictures. I know everyone is probably tired of seeing the Blue with Gold rims, but I'm not.
My car has around 750 miles on it and so far I've added tint, alarm, and an Alpine stereo with cheap stock speakers (for now). I also plan to install Omori 60mm gauges in a Defi pod (on order). Today I debadged the S U B A R U on the back. This is now my daily drive for my short trip to work and picking up my 2 and 4 year old from school. I also plan to take it out for Solo II and open track days.
BTW, you'll probably notice my silver WRX wagon in the background. I jumped in it today(first time in a while), popped it into first and thought the handbrake was on. Nope, just driving as it normally does. My wagon sports a Vishnu Stage 1, so that's saying a lot. My wagon also sports an STi suspension (springs, struts, strut tops, lat links, trail links, rear sway bar, front bushings), but the STi still feels a lot better.
I know people want specifics, but from my perspective everything about the STi just feels better.

I used the speakers from a WRX for now. I plan to upgrade later.
Something to keep in mind. The wiring is there for the speakers and head unit, and mounting a head unit was easy. When I opened the door panels I was happy to find the wiring for speakers (including the tweaters), but there is not mounting hardware. The tweaters had the clips and screws, but the other speakers didn't. For the front I was able to get the speakers in using some clips from the local hardware store, but the rear panel didn't have the plastic molding the speaker mounts into. I had to swipe off my wagon for now.

Did it have speakers in the doors? Or are they from the WRX?

I had the windows professionall tinted (there are a lot of places in Hawaii). It' probably hard to tell, but the tint is chrome (street legal for Hawaii).
