STiNrg ........ sorry about that, moonroof is very important to me too ............. I might have to choose a different car just so I can have a moonroof 
ssignorelli .................. that sales manager probably mistaken like me too, you know people that works at the dealer, they know NOTHING They are just there to sell what's in front of them. They have no infos on anything. If you ask them what size tires the car come with, they will bend down and find out for you........

Hmm, This is interesting. Historicly Subaru nevers offers a car the way people will want it right off the bat. The first turbos to come here in 83 only came with an automatic gearbox. Then there is the SVX which only came in Auto. Then the first impreza to ever actually offer a moonroof was the RS. Now they came out with the WRX and again it had no moonroof. Maybe they are learning and it really will be an option with this round.
On the other hand I just remembered, they never asked about that when I ordered mine. They wanted to know color and wheels, but no mention of moonroof. I would think that would be more important than the wheels to know ahead of time.
Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait for the "official"word.

The specs ARE official........there are scanned versions and a pdf file format posted on www.NASIOC.com with curb weights etc. and NO OPTIONAL MOONROOF for '04 model year USDM STi.

I've said it since last year and I'll say it again:
Most people fall into the same category as me - I plan on spending more time driving from point A to point B agressively with the windows down, the sunroof open and the stereo kicked THAN I do goign offroading ***** out rally-style where I might flip over.
This being said, forget the roll cage support....I want the DAM moonroof!!!!! at least give clowns like me the option to add it!!!!
