There is an Article in the May issue of Sport Compact car on the STi. They talk a lot about the release and how it compares to the EVO. They go as far as to say that Subaru purposely leaked incorrect information about the US STi to throw Mitsubishi off the track. The thing I'm sure everyone will care about the most is there estimated cost for the car. "The STi goes on sale this June and will cost, according to sources at Subaru, between $31,000 and $35,000." They talk about the Diffs, and they also mention how even though the STi gets a quicker ratio steering rack, its still slower than the EVO. Well, I'm a subscriber so I'm guessing you won't see this issue on the news stands for another few weeks.

I was at the Twin Cities Auto Show yesterday. I talked to one of the reps and he said that the latest word from Subaru is that the MSRP is going to be $32,900. I then talked to one of the local dealers that was there and he said that if I put down $1000 I would be put on the list for one and they would be selling it for the MSRP. Hmmm, being able to walk anything on the road....

Did anyone else notice there was not one picture of the STi's interior. There were some WRX interior pics though.

Go back and read what the post again. He's referring to the steering rack. If that's a deal breaker, go buy your Evo.
