Looking for shop/garage in Minneapolis area
 

Just picked up my sti today and thought I would make my first post - been lurking for a while though. This is my first suburu and I am not aware of any shops in the metro area that specialize in suburus. Would appreciate if anyone could point me to a reputable shop or garage that can work on the sti.

there isn't any! where u live? i'm from brooklyn park? what car is ur ? mine is blue.

I'm in Burnsville, car is white/silver. I can't believe there is no place that does work on Suburus! The WRX has got to be one of the most mod friendly vehicles out there.

hey, u know of any clubs or gathering of any kind here in the cities?

I don't know of any clubs - I'm new to suburu so don't really know what all is out there.

I just picked up my Blue/Gold STi a few days ago from Morries Sube.

Most of the Subie group hangs out at the Firestone lot on University Ave. in St. Paul. Swing by Friday and/or Saturday night and you'll catch a few or a bunch... anywhere around 8'ish to 10 or 11.

Otherwise I hear the Firestone lot is a good gathering place also.

I think I seen you guys around with the new sti. Especially the blue one around B.C. I have a 00 rs that is red/white. I see some subys around at University but dont go there anymore. I'll see you guys around.

I think that you are not the only one with a WR blue with gold wheel STi in town.....I have one also and i saw 4 of them in the last month in Minneapolis and St Paul ...just to let you know

I'm very sure that I'm not the only one in town with the Blue and Gold setup STi. But... I can say I'm the only one with three deep gouge in my trunk :mad: (I'm gonna end up having ABRA repaint my trunk soon).

I just wanted to let you know that i just received my personalized license plate ...USDMSTI
i know that nobody else in Minnesota will be using that one.
Also do you guys know that there will be a SCCA pro rallye in upper Minnesota in august ?it is a lot of fun and there is a lot of Impreza WRX entering the race....Mark Lovell and his co driver( Subaru team USA) were two famous english racers that just passed away( Crash against a tree) last week end in a similar race in Oregon.Let me know if you want more details
