That's pretty low but not impossible. The WRX would cost me ~ $450/6mo through USAA which is a good company but not the cheapest (I'm 27 with perfect record). I asked them to quote the STi but they didn't have it although there was some "High performance Subaru" on the list that was about $520/6mo. That might be the STi.
Anyway... $420. NICE!

Well, it's kind of tricky. Here are the ingredience to a good deal. First of all, the insurance agent that I have is a wife of a good friend of mine. This is very important. Second, I have a 95 Nissan Pathfinder and a 91 NX 2000 on the insurance policy that you must have had for at least 3 to 4 years, multiple car discount applies as well as non-smoker. Next, get married, it saves a bunch of money. Finally, have a great driving record in Nebraska for 11 years, location and the city you live in makes a hell of a difference (actually, they only check from 3 years back on your driving record). I think that's it. If you can satisfy all the ingredience, then it might work for you.
It might be a WRX insurance, but I'll have to get back with her to find out for sure. I just got the quote letter from her Fri 14th. Even if it is $425, the STi's shouldn't be too far off from that. So it might jump up to $500 every six month. I can still deal with that.
Peace-out...
