Handling differences between STI & EVO 8
what i can't understand is why people try to compare the EVO and the STI as I understand it they are two totally different cars. From what I have been told and read, the EVO likes to be thrown around where as the new STI is more point and shoot rather than throwing it around a corner (however the dealer tells me that the STI comes with a **** to adjust power distribution between front and rear, just in case you want to throw it around a corner :-)

They each have their own quirks and personality but both have been desinged with similar functions in mind.

Seems like you need to take a 101 course on AWD rally-replica sedans.
Of all the production cars sold on the ENTIRE planet, the EVO and STi are the closest to each other in terms of the way they drive.
I would also recommend driving a few AWD performance cars like the WRX, EVO, STi, S4, etc, and then decide for yourself how far apart the EVO and STi really are. You will find, for example, that the STi is a lot closer to the EVO, than say, a Lotus Elise or a Corvette Z06.
