They are the exact same as the gold but in the silver finish of the stock WRX wheels. See the attached picture.

 

I don't think gunmetal is one of the options ????

When Subaru sent out a recent e-questionnaire (to people who had ordered a brochure on-line, I think) they were asking prospective STi purchasers to pick their favourite colour for the car (options were blue, black, white and silver) and rims (options were gold and silver; pictures were shown and the silver rim finish was definitely silver, not gunmetal).

I recently tried to access these photos again, but the survey had closed with a comment something like " all 4 colour options and both rim options will be available".

 

I suppose it all depends what your (or rather Subaru's) interpretation of gunmetal is.....for me it evokes a colour much like the OZ Superlegerras i.e. a kind of grey colour........the photos provided by Subaru in the questionnaire definitely looked like a "standard" silver finish.

 

ALL, the picture I posted earlier is from the original e-mail for the SOA survey. The picture in my post IS what the non-gold wheel looks like.
