Gauge help please......
Hello everyone. I'm expecting my STi in mid-late July and want to get a better handle on boost gauge selection...I'm thinking of going with the Defi STi Genome gauge but had a quick question or two. Do I NEED to run a controller w/it too? And 2ndly - I recall seeing pics of gauges installed in the vent to the left of the steering wheel. Might anyone be able to post one of those for me again? I can't get the search function to work....and thanks SO MUCH for any help!

Yes the Defi guage requires the link controller. And yes people installed and are selling vent mounted gauge pods.

It would appear that the pod is for a 45mm gauge not the 60mm Defi gauge. You could probably cut your own vent to hold it depending on how set your are on having it in the vent.

Hey Corey - thanks so much for your help. Sorta new to the boards - much appreciated. I didn't even know that there were vent mounts available....makes my homework going forward much easier. So am I correct in assuming that 52 or 60mm gauges are too big to fit in that vent or just that there is only a 45mm mount available right now? Wondering if a 45mm would be a bit tough to check while driving (too small). Thanks!
