cool
thx bro.
i uses mobile whenever i can as well
but some people kept on telling me that Chevron is best. due to their additives.. but for sure it's bad for Benz cuz benz uses gold tipped needles. in the gas tank. and that techron stuff will eat the gold
causing inaccurate gas level measuring
a friend's benz had that problem..

Mobil Gas- Not Worth it. Has a Cleaner in it that Can Harm your Engine. Sunoco 94- not worth the xtra .9 per gallon. I Have used Sunoco 93 in all of my turbos. I Rip gears all day long and still get 244 mi per tank. (The gas smells good to). To the guy in Cali- Move to the East coast Find a sunoco and Fill-er up for appx 25.00 per tank.

gas octanes are different....its the minimum octance it can be...some may be higher....i don't think 94 is any better than 93...atleast not for the extra money. i would think places that only sell up to 93...that there 93 would have a better chance of being higher. if they sell 94 then they must be pretty specific to make sure they aren't ripping themselves off and selling 93 octane that is close to 94 or 94...i don't know how much of this is true...but this is what i have heard and believe

It seems that in Idaho I have the choice of Chevron / Texaco / Exxon / Tesoro, etc. 91 octane, or "Stinker" 93 octane with 10% ethanol. According to Chevron, 10% ethanol gasoline has 3.4% less energy content than regular gasoline. So is the added benefit of 93 octane going to outweigh the inferior gas? Alternately I could make my life complicated by trying to mix quantities of 105 octane race gas or 114 octane toluene in with 91 octane Chevron. This doesn't help when travelling unless I always keep a couple gallons with me in the trunk (sounds dangerous).
P.S. It's Mobil, not Mobile. The former is the oil company that merged with Exxon in 1999. The latter is a cheap home that comes to mind whenever I see things like 'u r 2 k00l cuz u rok.' Is there a shortage of letters these days?

hehe.. i think 76 and chevron are the best in cali.. by the way we gots 100 octane =) from 76, its great, the higher the octane the more effective ESPECIALLY for turbo cars. and u can buy 5gal tanks of 104 octane too =) cali baby.. strictly for the weather, hunnies, greens, and lean mean speed machines.
