I have the Sunoco station right down the street as well, what I'd like to know is how much better is the 94 octane compared to the 93 octane that they have? is it that much better and worth the extra 8-9 cents per gallon??

All but 2 fill-ups on my 02 WRX have been 94 from Sunoco... works GREAT. I plan on running nothing but this on my STi whenever it FINALLY comes in.
FYI: Some state (such as my neighboring state of KY) have ****ty reformulated gas that supposedly runs cleaner. Steer clear of this SH*T, as it will make your car knock no matter what octane you put in.

ok in So Cal here,,
only 76 sells racing gas. @ 100 octane
and they are around 5-6 $ per gallon..
i can mix them.. but @ huge cost tho..
like $ 50 per fill @ 93/4 octane i think
what i am interested is if people prefer 76, mobil. shell, Chevron/texaco. or ARCO.
thx

Mobile. I think Maxim and one or the car mags tested fuel from major station chains. They said mobile was consistent for quality across the country. I only use Mobile in my WRX. Never had a fuel problem on any car with Mobile.
The gas to avoid in Michigan is from the Meijer Stations. I tried it because it was 10 cents per gallon cheaper than Mobile and had to take my Jimmy and have the tank emptied because of sediment.
