Question Dumb question: Why is there no STi Wagon?

So seriously folks, how come there's no STi wagon? Did Subaru think that it'd be too weird for us American folks? I'm really curious. Shoot, I'd like to see an STi wagon here... anyone else? Hell, take it with the gunmetal wheels and you've got one hell of a sleeper huh? So anyone know why we don't have an STi wagon?

The coupe was the GC8 model, and they were the 22b and STi Ver. V Type RA (if I recall correctly). They were cool indeed

i'd love to see an STi wagon and coupe brought here. my guess is that Subaru kinda wanted to test the waters, and see how many STi sedans they could move before they brought something like that here. right now, there isn't any competition for something like the STi wagon, Mazda, Mitsubishi and the rest don't have anything that would compete against it.

i'd also like to see a true 2.0 liter STi come stateside, either instead of, or in addition to the 2.5 liter that we currently get.

The extra 500cc's aren't authentic rally style. WRC rules prohibit engines with forced induction to exceed 2000cc's. That's all. And don't forget that the JDM STi keeps up well with the USDM due to the fewer cats on the JDM which allow more H.P. to the wheels (despite have 20 odd less H.P. at the crank).

Definately I would like to see a 2.0 litre STi stateside along with the wagon. The 2.5 is great but i agree with the others that it isnt really "rally" style.
Cheers
