clear headlights for the 04 sti

does anyone sell aftermarket headlights for the 04 STi? and is it possible to just remove the orange lens off the stock headlights?If it is then how hard is it to do myself?Thanks for any info!

Car Info: PnP VF30 w/ STi injectors Perrin intake walbro fuel pump w/ a TXS TBE

There are also step by step instructions (with photos) on nasioc.com. go to the forums and do a search for clearing headlights. you can also paint your inserts black to get that JDM look.

I tried doing that but my fat white hands couldn't undo the clip behind the head light so my little project yesterday was ruined.

Can someone post a link where I can buy these parts online? Don't think I need a tutorial. Looks pretty easy if I can just find the parts.

what parts are you talkin about?? to do the clear head light mod its pretty straight foward to gettin it off but to do the black out mod takes a little more pactience. which are you talkin about.

If your talking about clearing the headlights, all you may need is black RTV from the autoparts store. I lined the housing with this jsut in case.....

Duh, I thought you had replaced the orange covers with silver. Now I get that you just removed them.

I am definitely going to do this...looks great. I have a black STI so I might go the black paint route. Anyone have any pictures of the black/black look?
