Just got a letter last night from SOA stating that we can expect to see the re-designed WRX in dealers by April and the Sti in dealers by summer (they would not name an actual month) This letter came with an actual 2004 WRX/Sti sales brochure. Awesome pictures and finally a document from SOA with actual numbers and not just internet speculation. Now if they just realese a few cars for the magazines to give us actual feedback!

 

That sounds like the letter you get if you request a brochure from impreza.subaru.com If so it doesn't say anything other than what webfine said. Then it has the brochure which just shows the same stuff that is on the website.

 

I read in AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE that the STi will be released on June 1st

What I meant about the numbers is an actual article/document from Subaru - no offense to the info in the web but many rumors and wishes are spread very easily. I did not want to lay money down on a car and it not have near the specs that the rumors had it at.
No curb wieght or MSRP. Although when you hit the Subaru global link they do give a metric weight for the European 2004 Sti @ 1450kg/3190lbs
