Anyone put in DVD Nav?

Dvd nav is great if you travel alot of get lost alot. plus its easier and cheaper to upgrade over the years. Ive got to play with a lot of the dvd nav systems and my favorite so far are the kenwood and then the alpine. both excellent units and detailed.
oh and i say kenwood over the rest when it comes to nav is b/c you can have touch screen which to me is easier then dialing it up from a remote control..

I'm fairly certain that the system itself would not work for the US as discovered in various threads regarding the jdm nav unit. However, it would be really nice to see someone mate that display/mount with a US system.
