WRX CD player

Can someone tell me if you can hook up a subwoofer to the CD player that comes standard in the WRX?

I have replaced all my speakers and added a sub and an amp. So yes you can. Also there is a factory option sub that is available (but I think it sounds like a$$).

when you want to install a sub and amp with a stock deck the installers will throw in a wire->RCA converter.

when i installed my amp and sub i didn't use RCA's... my amp already had high/low pass inputs... meaning i tapped into the rear speaker lines to get my signal. i did this at the wire harness, where u have to tap into anyways to get a remote signal. search the forum for the harness schematic...
