wiring a line output converter
Hi, I'm installing a sub with the factory deck on my 02 2.5TS. I have everything wired, except for the line output converter. Does anyone know where I can find the wiring specs for the factory deck? I don't know which wires are which in the harness. Thanks

Don't forget you will probably have to tap into the ignition for the remote wire to the amp. At least I don't think there is anything like that on the stock deck.
Let me know what you have to do as I need to install an LOC also...

You'll want to tap into pins 4, 5, 12, 13 and 10 for switched power. I haven't tried it as I'm not running the stock components, but hopefully this puts you in the right direction.

Yeah I did some searching and found the ravensblade diagram. Originally I had found some diagram for a wiring harness from crutchfield that had everything right except for the switched power (10). So as soon as I hooked that in it worked perfectly. Thanks for the advice... On a related note, I noticed the north america subaru impreza club owners association website (i might have the acronym wrong, but i'm in a rush...) had a FAQ for stereo install as a sticky subject, with links to ravens blade. Maybe something like that here might be useful?

So you don't need to tap into the ignition for switched power? All I have to do is run the wire from the amp to the back of the HU and tap into pin #10? Is that right?
