Who Makes a Good Amp
I just got an STi and I am stereo shopping. I have picked out a head unit and speakers but I don't know what amps to buy. I need one for 2 focal 13ks subs and one for some MB Quart reference series speakers (50 x 4). I am not looking to go crazy but I don't want a piece of crap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

what's your price range?
I mean I could say go with zapco or tru but you most likely don't need that.
My suggestion would be to stay with a solid company that you have a local shop that can help you deal with warranty issues. Even the best companies have bum amps...
personally I am a very big fan of JL Audio. They are very solid. Nice looking and have an application right up your alley. They are also fairly priced.
I'd suggest getting one amp to run all your stuff since it doesn't sound like you need an insane amount of power. Either that or get a small one for your seperates and a mono for your subs.
My suggestions would be JL Audio, Pheonix Gold. Then I'd drop down into the alpines. they make some very solid mid range amps. I had a v12 for a while. Loved it .
I like RF for sub powering but that's about it. If you don't mind running different companies amps you might go with an alpine for the fronts and an RF for the subs. But I like my amps to match...call me **** but so be it.

Zapco if you have money. C2K series which is their competition level stuff, but it's $$$. Very worth it for the sound it produces.
Arc audio makes good amps 2. Arc audio = some of the guys from zapco who left and started it.
It all depends on your budget. PPI, Soundstream, JL, etc make good amps too.
