viper alarm

does anyone know what makes a viper one of the best alarms? and if so what makes it so good? i just wanna get the best alarm cuz i live in newark nj, and im fully aware that theres always someones who can steall any car. im not to big on all the options just security

which one are you looking into? the 790 i think is alright. there is one made by audiovox prestige. $449 i believe. i'm getting it put into my wrx when they have time to install it. i know bout 4 other people who's got it...they love it and have the viper 790 before. just my .02

i was just under the impression that viper alarms are the best. from what i understand they are all the same alarms minus2 sensers and oersonal options. i was hoping someone would enlighten me on this. thanks phatstud for your imput

well ok.. viper has perimeter and shock and starter and sensors.. all that crap.. they also have the new 2 way pager which alerts you if anythin is wrong with your car.. and i heard they have a pretty decent range.. im not sure about any model numbers but thats what i know.. been in business for awhile so they must be good.. haah
