UR pulley kit and upgraded stereo OK?
i know this has been asked dozens of times but, i would feel much better having an answer to my exact situation instead of a general idea.
as mentioned i have a UR (underdriven) pulley kit, not just the crank pulley. i plan to install infiniti reference series speakers (6002i) in the rear, infiniti R.S. speakers of less power (i know the 6002i's won't fit behind the grill in the doors) up front and, a sony head unit (cdx-m850mp). there will be no amps, tv screens or, any other power goblins installed other than 4-5 gauges.

will i have any problems with this or will i be ok. i just dont want the car to die if i let it idle for 10-15 mins or after making several short trips. i deliver newspapers to about 3 blocks of apartment complexes. i drive to one end and park then drive to the other end and park. from one end to the other is about 30 seconds of driving. thanks for any insight on this situation.

lol .................yeah dude you should be fine......... if i run a 500W amp to my subs and a 240W HU on my factory alternator then you will be more than ok. you will not be running that much more wattage than your factory system by installing a new HU and new speakers...... good luck man

hmm i think u should be fine with that head unit. since most headunit include a 4x50 MOSFET power supply which it will run the 4 or 2 speaker u mention. as far as the UR pulleys, i don think it will afftect or at least wont affect a lot on the stereo. ( im thinking here.......the pulleys are light so it will be less streess on the alternator when it spins, less stress mean more power, i dunno im just wondering) but like i said u should be ok with the HU and the speaker.
