Hi, I'm a new owner of a WRX! I'm not yet an enthusiast, but once the break-in is over and the car is a few mods richer, then who knows? (actually, I'm here, so I guess the bug has already bitten me)

But right now I'm just looking to upgrade the stereo system a bit. I'd like a deck that plays mp3 cds (I'm looking at the JVC SH707 or 909) and some new front speakers. From what I have learned, the amp in this deck isn't too bad. So what sort of speakers would go best with it? Without an amp, components are out. So what are some good coaxials that work well with the WRX?

And I'm open for audio-shop suggestions from those of you in the Bay Area... especially a shop that will do a good job on a modest upgrade like this, but be helpful later on if I come back for some higher end equipment.
