The antenna is in the back window and if you buy the wire harness that connects to the factory side no wires need to be cut. On the car side of the wire harness there is a white wire that will be in one of the corners of the plug that is the power wire for the antenna if the radio you get has a power antenna wire (blue) that would be the one that you can connect to the white wire without that wire wire getting power your reception will be very poor. I'm sure if you do a search you can find some getter info but I had a problem with the white wire the place that installed my stereo didn't hook up those wire very good I had to fix it but it all works good now...
