Speaker pric quote
I just went to a local shop because im looking at an upgrade for the wrx speaker wise and i was quoted at 425 for component speakers and rear speakers either kicker or pioneer how does that sound. LOL but wait get this i asked about a fiberglass sub box in the spare well and he said twenty five hundrend i almost laughed in his face that with a kicker solobaric sub i mean thats rediculous so i wanted to know how am i doing with the speakers since the sub was a rediculous price
is that an installed price?
factor in about 1-1.5 hours labor. say $60-75 per hour.
now check prices at crutchfield since they tend to be closer to retail prices.
btw, if just speakers, try best buy or circuit city. that's a basic job.
think about an amp to power those speakers though and forget about rear doors unless you carry passengers all the time and they pay you so they can listen to the radio...

I charge eighty to install components and 40 to install the rears. Figure 120 for labor and 305 for the speakers thats not bad except for the fact that ya mentioned pioneer who makes great decks but cheap speakers. Kicker aint bad for speaks but there are still better for the money. Polk momo's are close to your price range and sound great. Ran them in my truck since they first came out about 4 years ago and they still kickin.
