spacers for the rear doors?

Question spacers for the rear doors?

ok. i did a search, but i couldnt get my questioned aswered. my question is, Do i need spacers for the rear doors to fit 4in. infinity speakers? and if so, how thick? thanx alot.

You won't need spacers but you will need to make an adapter ring. I made one out of the plastic ring that surrounded the stock rear speakers. worked perfectly.

cuz the screw holes dont fit into the stock screw holes so you would need one

I think you NEED an adapter ring with 4" speakers as the speaker holes on a 4" won't reach the door as the opening in back is actually bigger than a 4" speaker but not quite the size of a 5.25. I know with my 4" speakers, I couldn't simply drill into the door as the speaker was too small for the existing hole. The plastic from the stock speakers made it fit perfectly though.

infinity reference. 5 1/4 in the front and 4's in the rear
