soundeadning trunk 04 sti

I just put a system in my sti and damn the trunk rattles, which products all you think is better in cost and application ease too solve this problem

i used raammatt off of ebay, it's much cheaper than dynamat, so far it seems like a good product. i don't know how it compares to everything else though

Hey 15,

How many layers of RaamMat did you use?? I was looking at there site this morning and it recommends up to three layers in some cases. Can you just get away with just one layer on the floor of the trunk?? and under the seats. Also did you do your doors on the exterior skin and interior skin.

Hey to all,

I just put a single layer in the whole trunk and under the back seats. (Raammat) I believe that it made a difference, but I still need to finish up the doors to round out the whole package. I will also do the floor under the front seats also.

Under the rear deck is good too since the wires in there vibrate.

what about that spray foam stuff? how does that work? I'm having the same problem and I would like to avoid the stuff like dynamat since it weighs so much

I'm planning to use spray on truck bed liner on the inside of my trunk lid. It won't show that much since I have a black car. I'll post if I notice any difference at all.

I don't know of anyone thats tried this yet, but I don't think it will do enough to make it worth it. Isn't spray on bedliner rather expensive too?
