Sinfoni Amplitude 45.2 (with pics)

I got this amp for my tweets in an active setup. Only just started the tuning, its not going to be easy I'm finding out. If youjust like setting and forgetting, go with passive crossovers..

Wow, you are ballin' out of control with your stereo system(s).

How much power were you pushing your Pioneers when Soggy and I were listening to it?

I've set it up active now and it sounds like crap. I'll try it for a few days and if i cant get it im going back passive. It sounded good enough before when you heard it.

Haha, yeah, it sounded really clean. I'm sure you'll figure it out though.

Just to update that this Sinfoni is really clean. I suppose I can't really get a true sense of it running only tweets. When I get tired of this system I might try it on some full range to see how much power it really has. If this was loud enough to run my front stage... I would have a spot for another sub on my TRU amp.. naw.. im not changing my system for a while.

cool, going active IMO is much better than passive, provided you ahve the right tuning options and tune it correctly.

my new demo system in my car will be fully active, if you are ever intesrted in listening to it, let me know, it should be done by june if i have time

I just swapped my mids today. Gave the Pioneer a fair enough time to sell, so decided to put them back in. When I was using the Alpine type-x passives, i felt weird about using a Pioneer mid on it. But now since i'm active, I don't mind mixing and matching the sets. Although the alpine mid is very musical and tasty, it didnt hit the lows like the Pioneer can. Since I won't be running a sub for quite a while, I decided it was time to have the PRS mids back in matched with the Alpine tweets. I wont even get to hear it until my TRU amp is back from repairs. I accidentally blew a speaker channel by being careless during my work. And the TRU's have no protection as it just takes away from pure music. That sucks, and a simple speaker wire from amp touching metal blew something in the amp just on 1 of 4 channels.
