Question Req: Bolt/screw sizes for stereo bracket...

I went to the dealer to get a second set of mounting brackets and screws for my new Blaupunkt stereo install. They had the brackets but no screws...anyone know the size and pitch of the screws so I can go to a hardware store to get some? These are the four gold colored screws that hold the stereo to the bracket on a 2004 WRX. If you know the size of the 6-black ones that hold the whole assembly in the dash, I'd appreciate that too.

Thanks!

Rob

usually, the screws that are used to screw INTO the head unit are provided by the head unit maker since they dont want you screwing INTO the thing and breaking something.

but the 6 blacks ones, did you loose all of them? otherwise just bring into any hardware shop to get replacements...

extra tip? try to get diff head screws, for the 6 black ones. that way, you add a small layer of security, when the thief finds out he needs more than a philips head....
