radio in gauge pod

radio in gauge pod

I have a auto meter gague pod not the factory gauge pod. Do you think a single din radion would fit and look nice if I mod it a little. Keeping in mind that it has a semi circle form.......... Thank in advance joel

its been done...not sure if it was with a auto meter guage pod but somebody does make a kit that fits a single din radio up top and then most people will put a 7in screen or so in the factory radio location

I'm not sure about the autometer, the subaru gauge pod ( http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/wrx-interior.html ) has a metal tray that the radio mounts to.

hey yeah like the pic what type of screen is that. does it look good! I'm actually about to do this in about two weeks, With pics. Thanks for the link I just finished buying the pod. Man Now all i need is to pick out the screen. Any suggestions....Money really no object. but def not no 1000 dollor screens..
