Lightbulb Rader Detector...

I have a friend who has a Valentine One Laser 100 that he has for sale for $200.00 and he wants to sell it to me, what are your guys's thoughts on the performance and reliability of it... (If any of you have any experience with it that is...) Thanks!

Only the escort 8500x50 outperformed it in detecting ka band. The valentine has an advantage of direction.

I've got a V1 myself, and I like having it around. I'm generally a cautious driver so it doesn't really affect my driving style but it is nice to have the level of situational awareness that it provides.

$200 is a steal, even used they sell for nearly $400 if in good condition

best radar on the market next to the 8500 and 9500 but the best reason is you can send it in to V1 anytime for a "tune-up" for $45. my X bought me one for like 150-200, we sent it in and its saved my *** more times than i can count.

As of now, I went and picked it up from him, and let me tell you, it's wonderful, it saved my *** twice this weekend. *phew* It was worth every dollar. It detected the cop like almost more than a mile away from me!!! Wow I am impressed with it! Thanks guys!!!
