i just got a Sony CDX-M800, 52w x 4 channels. Is this head unit alone going to be enough power to make the stock speakers in my '04 WRX sound good or will i need to buy a small amp?

 

if you have the money, get new speakers and an amp to power it, yoru stock speakers wont sound that much better just cause of a new head unit, it will give some more power, but the stock speakers just arent so great.

 

yeah, im definitely getting an amp and speakers eventually, i just cant really afford it now. obviously it wont sound great, but the stereo will sound a little bit better with just the head unit upgrade right? i ask because i havent installed the head unit yet and im wondering if i should just wait for the whole shabang.
