Hey i have a 02 WRX and it came with a premium sound, there's a little sub under teh seat. My question is that if i was to put a new head unit in, will that little stub still work, you guys think the wires is tapped into the other two set or speakers are there's wires of its own. Thanks!

 

The sub will work with an aftermarket HU. It works by bridging off the rear speaker outputs so as long as you install a HU with an internal amp the sub will function.
