well first you find the tweeter that has the correct pod so it does not have a lip. then you cut a section out of your pod and recess the pod half way in their. super glue two small points on each side. then lay fleece of the back side onto the a pillar. resin it. sand it. lay fiberglass on the inside and let it dry. sand it alot. then use body filler to get any small spots. sand it. wet sand it. primer it. wet sand it. primer it. wet sand it. ready for paint.

you really dont need any tools. i used a dremel to cut the a pillar. rasor blade to cut fleece. paint brush for resin and fiberglass. bondo for body filler. 60, 100,200, 400, 600 grit sand paper. PCL polycoat primer.

That is a very nice job on the a pillar, but I just changed out the tweeters on my outback and mounted them down by the midrange. It opened up the soundfield tremendously! Now the instruments don't sound as diffused. You should really try to keep your mids and highs as close together as possible...

p.s. anyone recomend any good car speaker wire? afordable, but the best =)
