O.E. upgraded speakers

Does anyone have these and how are they? I was asking cuz I wanna upgrade my speakers but with glass rolled down the mounting depth is so shallow, and I know these will fit. Or does anyone have any recommendations? I dont wanna have to drill holes or anything like that.

-Thanks

Those upgrade speakers are crap-o-rama... just save and buy a good aftermarket ones. Go to this site www.iaperformance.com. They sell speaker spacers and have a long list of aftermarket speaker specs.

Word to their mommas

Only minor thing you gotta do with most spacers is cut a little plastic with a knife...takes all of like 5 minutes and no power tools.

You buy the upgraded speakers and we get to take an owned picture with you...nah just kidding!

I also the upgraded OEM speakers and they are very good in my opinion.

You know that they are Pioneer's right...made out of metalized polypropylene, come with full weather shielding and fit in the car with out ANY problems.

Pioneer = great DVD, headunit, DSP processor, plasma TV manufacturer... when it comes to speakers... :/ Nah... just my 2 cents.

I also HAD these, and they worked great. I made the mistake of trying to upgrade them, and the aftermarket ones had too deep of a magnet! I FUBARED the speaker (screwdriver through the cone) when putting it back in!

I ended up putting bazooka brand speakers back in and they aren't as good. =(
