i am planning on buying a set of 5.25 infinity kappa component speakers this week. i was wondering if these are good speakers, and i also wanted to know if you could fit 5.25" speakers in the back doors without making major modifications (ie. cutting out part of the door panel.) also, would a jl audo 300/4 amp be good for this setup? if not, what amp would you guys recommend. input would be greatly appreciated.

 

get 6.5" speakers for the front doors. get the speaker spacers from this place:

forget rear speakers. get a good subwoofer and then use the jl amp to power everything...

 

should i get the thin spacers or the thick ones? does anyone have pics of these spacers installed on the car?

 

spacers is dependent on the thickness of the speakers to begin with.

did you check their fitment chart?

the 5.25" kappas require thick for the front doors...

 

i have 4inch kappas in the back, they are cool, considering their price. Abs no bass from small speakers tho.
