Car Info: EQ Tuned Wagon ;)
Exclamation Need help! Asap!

So I installed an Visonic amp and sub into my 2002 wrx wagon.
I already have a deck with iPod hookup which ran an amp and sub before. Right now I have the power from the amp to the battery separated by a fuse (fuse is brand new). From there the ground wire is grounded under the seat on a bolt. I have tested the connections and there is no problem with the ground or power. Now onto the remote turn on! I have it connected to the blue/white remote wire behind my deck which turns it on. now here is the problem. the red light on the amp stays on which i think is the protection light? when the light is supposed to be white! all the RCA's are installed correctly and the polarity is correct from sub to amp.

WHY ISN'T MY SUB PROVIDING AUDIO?!?!

its driving me insane!

please help and if you need more info let me know

Looks like you have power, but the remote could be wired wrong, have had that happen to me before, gave the same symptoms. how do you know your are running the proper wiring configuration from amp to sub, do you have 2Ohm subs or 4Ohm subs, are you running parallel or series wiring? Briding the amp? So many factors...

so its just not turning on?
try disconnecting everything except power and ground.
and instead of remote wire, just use a piece of wire to connect the remote to the same constant source for power. see if it turns on or not, if it doesnt, probably bad amp.
