In need of a 150amp Alternator
I need a big alternator to power my stereo, I have a 2000 2.5RS and the stock one is putting out 75 amps and with everything on (not the setero) its pulling about 73 amps. I havn't found one that will fit yet, anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I recommend getting Alumapro capacitor. They have like 15 farad versions for about $500. Some old soviet space technology. Your amps will hit like mad.
For highest AMP OEM laternator, get a Canadian H-6 AT alternator.

No, sorry.
Typically, the larger the engine, the higher the amps.
Also, AT cars have higher amp alternators due to a lower idle.
And, Canadian cars have higher amp alternator due to daytime running lights.
Not sure if US H-6 equipped cars have DRL.

The above is not a fact, so double check. Thats just common knowledge about alternators.

. By the way, these are used by a ton of competitors and are very well made. They also install much better than conventional cylindrical type capacitors.
