My CD/DVD player!!!

Here it is!!! It's a Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD with the IPOD adapter. I really like it and the IPOD interface is superb. I installed it myself and it was really simple.

I don't mind at all.

Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD unit (ebay, new)- $899.50
3 year replacement warrenty from SquareTrade - $95.99
WRX wiring harness - $16
Pioneer CD-IB100II IPOD interface adaptor - $50

I installed it myself so that was free for me.

If you live in the bayarea I can help you install it if you buy one. It only took like 30 minutes.

kool thanx... but i think i'll be fine, i'm an installer @ bestbuy sf... i was just gauging prices b/c we sell the pioneer avic models and i get a pretty good discount on them but they need a separate dvd player. so i was also looking to do something like the matt jk setups...

more than likely i'm going with the jvc avix up top (i sold my gauges) w/ a 7inch screen where the stock double din location is.

Looking good, quick question, were did you mount the ipod interface. Im up in the air still on were I want to mount everything. And still be easy enough to re route my XM tuner IP-BUS cable that is already going to my deck.

I actually mounted the IPOD controller box under the air/heat controllers. It fit perfectly. I had to work at getting it in there though.

I installed a Forester Din in my Impreza and my Nano sits in there on top of my Defi controller.

best way to hook up and Ipod if you ask me, direct cable to my Alpine.

I put my IPOD in the glove box. This way you can lock your glove box when you leave your car.
