+1 - I bought a wagon for the cargo space. being able to keep it all is a big plus, not to mention the totally hidden nature of the spare tire well. Afterall.. it is supposed to be STEALTH

Anyway, next week I will be meeting with my friends at JL (For C.E.S.) and will reafirm their commitment to the project (face to face). To all of you who are waiting, I am still optimistic that this will happen, I'm just not sure how fast.

sweet. Good luck with the meeting, thanks for the update.

This is my first post, so some of you guys might not take me seriously. I'm in the process of making a JL Audio type stealth box for my friend. It's a 2004 STI. I make many stealth boxes for customers all the time. If you guys are interested let me know because once I have a prototype it's not really that hard to make extra one. I know this doesn't mean anything without pictures but you will all have it buy next week if my time permits. The box is for a single ten inches JL Audio 10W3. I have the car in my shop right now getting a whole Dynamat job and components MB Quartz. I'll try to post pictures next week.

Thumbs up

'05 STI......Would buy one in a NY minute. I don't want to see it...just feel it...that's the whole point of a stealth box.

I love stealth Boxes....I've had three of them in my trucks over the years and they really hit hard and fast.

Ok guys I see that many of you are looking into getting a stealth box. Well if your really interested I need a car for some proto type work. Those that let me use his or her car will get $100 off the final product. Assuming that I'm only charging $350 to $400 for custom fiberglass box. Just PM me. Oh by the way hopefully somebody in the Bay Area California. (East Bay)

JL says NO StealthBox for Suby

Sad news Guys....

This is what two folks at JL said after I sent a SteathBox request to JL Tech Support and VP of Sales:

"Scott-
Thank you for the continuing interest in JL Audio. We will not be offering a
Stealthbox for the Subaru WRX / STi.
I do recommend that you take a look to our other offerings or drop by a
local JL Audio dealer. They can walk through your car and construct a custom
"Stealthbox" like custom enclosures.
