did anyone buy this 6 disc in dash cd changer from subaru? not the stock head units, but just the 6 disc in dash? does anyone know if it's a single din? will it fit with my headunit which is only single din? you know where i can get it for cheap? its the one that looks like this...

Well my 05' came with an in dash 6 disk changer so.....no . There's usually 3 sizes, single din (prolly that changer your looking at,) din and a half and double din which is what opening is on the 05' and later WRX's. Just looking at the picture, I'm guessing it's a single din. That changer though looks like it's a slave changer so you'll have to have something to control it. I'm not sure your stock or aftermarket headunit will control it or not, seriously doubt it. I'm sure that 2 single din headunits will fit in the stereo location.

yeah my headunit has a cd chager control but i wanna make sure this can fit because the changer is really expensive

Maybe there's a reason? hmmmmm.

 

From what I've learned, site where older crowds are, the changer is a single DIN.
