How Much can the oem alternator handel?

Just a quick question. How much can the factory alternator handel? Right now i am running 1 850w amp and another 750w amp to power my door speakers and my two subs. My suby's inside lights dont blink nor do my head lights when im bumpin my stereo. I'm just wondering how much more can it handle if i wanted to do my stereo work ?

hmm if u have a GC8 the altnerator handle about 90amps of power, and wrx about 75 amps of power. just make sure a good fuse, ground and a cap. im running 2 1000w RMS competition sub bridged from a 2000w amp. total probably running around 2300w RMS with interior speaker and also running PS and LCD and stuff off a stock alternator and battery. oh i have a GC8 so little more amp. interior lights dims a bit, when im having it full bass. but im change my battery into a optima soon, and a higher alternator soon to prevent any problem in the future.
