help!: wire harness for sub
So, I just bought the subaru sub woofer from an i-club'er and found out that the wire harness is an additional $115. Is there anyway I can get around buying it from subaru? Can I buy a similar one from GoodGuys? for much much cheaper?

I have not seen the powered sub but you could probably roll your own, just need power, ground, RCA/wire to the sub, and remote wire.
Do you have a picture of the interface?

a schematic of sorts is found in this installation manual

Unless you can somehow source the connectors there is no other place to purchase this harness. This is why I always advise anyone looking to purchase a used OEM sub to be sure the complete harness is included.
It unplugs, but to access the HU side the HU has to come out. It is a "piggyback" type harness that connects in between the factory HU harness connector and the HU. It taps the necessary power and speaker connections and brings them down to the sub.
