help bridging amplifier

well basically you have two wires right, a + and a -, so you take the + and connect it to the possative side of one channel, and you take the - and connnect it to the negative side of the other channel. Congratulations you have now bridged an amp.

Most stereo amps bridge using the Left + and the Right - speaker leads. Try that and try the opposite (Right +/Left-) and see which one is louder. The louder option is the one you want.

And don't forget, you bridge it, you cut the resistance in half that the amplifier sees. So make sure it is two ohm stable to say the least, or you could burn your car down! Brian
