Ghost in my stereo?
I was in the rain today at a stoplight listening to my usual talk radio station when all off a sudden the radio volume goes down, then up. I look at the volume and it goes from 13 to 6 then climbs to 10 then drops back to 6.
I have a 05 WRX with the "the new stereo face"
Anyone had any problems or like that or did a the ghost in the machine turn down my tunes??
Any ideas would be helpful.

whoa...I'd call an exercist...I have an 05 and I've never seen that happen...prolly has something to do with holloween and you not worshiping the evil spirits often enough hehehehe
I remember my stereo started doing that a while back but it turned out to be due to interference of other signals. I had just covered the little receiver thingy that it uses to 'communicate' with the remote control. However, I dont think you have a remote control for this car stereo.. but it can still potentially be interference of some sort in that area (did it ever happen again?) or else you should call in the exorcist :P

No it does not have a remote. It happened this morning while at a stoplight. It was raining; the wind was steady at 6 knots. I was behind what seemed to be in front of what seemed to be an endless line of cars waiting for the light to turn green. It has not happened to this before.
Anyone else??

I know, it's sick. I know phones sometimes cause problems with the speakers but to turn down my volume and then turn it back up? It's a strange problem.

Ok it's official!! It's haunted. The other day I tried to turn off my stereo and what does it do? It turns back on and turns up the volume. (o_O). I wanted to jump out of the car and run for my life but I was stuck in traffic.
