Sounds right to me...

The ones I just built for my car are for 10" subs, and they pump out more than enough bass to fill the car (and most of the neighborhood) I'm really amazed at the sound, fiberglass really is the way to go. I'll check around at some car audio places to see what they charge for similar glass work, and probably charge half what they say. Before I built mine, I got a quote from a shop for $1200 which seemed ridiculously high...hence the reason I built my own...
While $1200 is a alot for an enclosure, it sounds about right. Lets say $200 for materials, that leaves 1k for labor, which is $25 and hour @40hrs. That's not much $ to do custom work with hazardous materials. Just MHO.

I think they'd look fabulous in the back of a legacy, especially with 15's! I'm available for custom work if anybody is interested, i'll make you a smokin' deal!

I don't have any of the skeleton, but you can see the dowels along the bottom in the first picture, the dowels are pretty well sealed in. I thought about breaking them out but just added more and more resin...these things are sturdy enough to stand on now

I agree, 1200 is way too high...i'm selling 2 enclosures plus the 2 subs for 700. Sounds like you found a good shop!

You're talking about a single drivers side enclosure like the ones pictured? Custom molded to fit the wagon? 300 sounds about right.

Sounds good...if my current enclosures sell i'll be building new ones, so by then you might have a couple different design options to choose from. Feel free to PM me when the time comes-

This is exactly what i'm looking for.. Except in a 12" .. This is real close to a design i was working on..

If you would build me one i would be willing to give you 250.00 .. Let me know..

Only other question is - what did you do to keep them in place? Velcro or bolts?

Let me know slange52@wi.rr.com

I am seriously interested..

Thanks
Chris
