double din dvd player

ok quick question on my kenwood ddx6019 dvd player. i've read that all i have to do to bypass the dvd player is ground it to my wiring harness but does that mean the wiring harness on the headunit or somewhere else? i've been trying to bypass it for about 2 days now but im not gettin any help. so if you can please help and pics would be a great help if anyone can realy quick. please and thank you - tony

there is a wire that you are suppose to connect to the 'Parking Break', so that when you are parked, you are able to use the DVD function of the player. Instead of connecting this wire to the ebrake, simply ground it to the frame of your car..
if you can't figure it out... google 'how to bypass ebrake dvd player' or something

I just did this on Saturday with a Kenwood DD DVD/Nav screen

take teh green parking-brake wire (I can't remember what it's actually labeled) and splice it into the black ground wire coming off the harness. Easiest way to do it. Worked like a charm.
