I was bored and decided to give the trunk and system in my 02 WRX a little flair. This is what I came up with. 2 8" black lights, and 1 10" on sale @ G.I. Joes for something like 15 bucks alltogether. Then I added some LED lights that are usually used to mount your liscence plate. Their cost was fairly low as well. Then to the install. Sorry I dont have pics while I was doing it but i decided to mount the led's to the plastic cover to the electrical that is where the trunk closes. Taking this out was very easy. Once that was done I measured the height at which I would have to cut out the holes so that the LED's would be pointed right at the subs. (I still need to adjust it a little ). Anyways after drilling throught that i had to drill out slots for the back of the Led's to fit into, they are too long to just sit their. After that I bolted the LED's to the plastic and dynamated the back.(Something I had needed to do for a while ) I added some extra wire and hooked the power to the power source to my amp, and the ground to the ground source, put a lamp line swith so that I could turn it off(running down the batter isnt good ) and 2 hours later I had the results, here are the pics, any questions or comments would be appreciated

Just in case anyone is wondering I have 2 12 inch infinity kappa perfect 12.1s. Powerd by a 600 watt kenwood amp hookede up to a sony xplod cdx-700(somethign like that) deck. Also diamond audio front and rear speakers.

 

Hey, nice job!!! Thats an awesome light setup IMO because of its originality. At least I havent seen it before.
