Question Custom Box and Amp Rack

I am thinking that the next thing i am gonna do to my car is do a custom box and amp rack. I havent decided on any designs yet but i wanted some input. My parents bought the car for me over a year ago, its a 2003 2.5RS. So I am still un-clear as if the car is mine or not. I want to Dynamat my trunk lid but i know it doesnt come off too easy. Here was my idea, I was thinking of maybe having an amp rack made out of fiberglass that hooks onto the inside of the trunk lid. That way i could dynamate the back of that so if i ever needed to get rid of it i wouldnt have to worry about it. What do you guys think? Is that totally impossible or could i get it done somewhere? Thanks for your input.

When you say "amp rack," do you mean a tray that sits just underneath the trunk lid. Would it be attached to the trunk door or would it sit in the trunk opening. If so, would it cover the entire opening? I'm not an expert but I think that for best results, the trunk lid would have to be dynamatted (can I use it as a verb?) because without it, the large piece of sheet metal would still resonate. It might be different if the "tray" was really sturdy and formed an airtight barrier between the trunk airspace and trunk door. Airtight might be tough to achieve. Another option to dynamat could be the spray or paint on sound deadener. This might not look as offensive as the backside of dynamat to a potential buyer. The uninformed may think the underside of the trunk lid is supposed to be black.
