If you're like me you like a good tune mixed with the sound of the engine when you're going for a drive. I'd like to put together a CD of the best driving songs. If anybody's car has a "theme song," or just a tune they really dig when they're behind the wheel, let me know!
Rush - Moving Pictures Album
Rush - Hemispheres Album
Rush - Exit Stage Left Album
Rush - A Farewell To Kings Album
Rush - Signals Album
Rush - Presto Album
Rush - Roll The Bones Album
Rush - Vapor Trails
Metallica - Black Album
Metallica - St. Anger Album
AC/DC - Back In Black Album
AC/DC - Stiff Upper Lip Album
System Of A Down - Toxicity Album
Rock on. . . . . haha. Cheers.

If anyone has ever seen Requiem for a Dream i found a full classical version of the crazy theme song from that movie. I think it is the theme to the Lord of the Rings as well. Great song and makes u wanna go fast.... Can find it on Kazaa, under "Lord of the Rings; Twin Towers theme song"

Depends on the driving.
Out cruising around with a friend, trying to be cool:
- Overplayed radio rap/hip hop/punk rock music (not the radio itself, of course *shudder*)
Out for a mellow drive, or heading to school or something:
- Metallica's S&M
- Prodigy
- CD's my gf burned me a while ago, lots of mellow sing a long music.
- The occasional musical.
And I'm 18....quick everyone make a shocked face!

What qualifies as shocking is a 22 year old(myself) and my two favorite bands are Rush and Steely Dan. Most of the music I listen to is pre 1990.

You gotta love "Bad Habit" by Offspring. Really gets the road rage mood going.
Nothing beats pulling up next to an old lady in the summer and cranking the middle part of the song

Thats crazy that you mention "Bad Habit." I just found my old Smash cd and was thinking the same thing as I was driving around town listening to it the other day...
